The Council is a non-profit corporation made up of governmental, civic and business organization working together to solve traffic problems at the Lake.

Jim Herfurth, recently retired CEO of Central Bank of the Lake of the Ozarks, continues as chairman for the Transportation Council. A transportation consultant is on board to help us stay competitive with other areas of the state for scarce highway resources.
